Built in 2007, this two-story residence spans 1,894 square feet on a 0.22-acre lot, offering a blend of rustic charm and modern amenities.​ Key Features Interior: The home features granite countertops throughout, a spacious master suite with a separate tub and shower, and a cozy fireplace. Three bedrooms are located downstairs, while an upstairs loft is accessible via a wrought iron spiral staircase.​ Exterior: Enjoy over 1,000 square feet of wraparound porch space, providing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and forest. The property also offers RV parking and uncovered parking spaces.​ Location: Situated just a few miles from a popular ski resort, the home is in proximity to hiking trails, river rafting, fishing spots, bike trails, and local restaurants. Its prime location ensures easier access during winter months compared to other areas.

Other Details to Note

We do live in a high fire risk area. We do not allow fire pits or any open flames without a shut-off valve. Additionally, this neighborhood is a tranquil and sleepy place. We kindly request that you always respect the ambiance and quiet hours. Seasonal Power Safety Shutoffs During the summer months, our mountain community may experience Public Safety Power Shutoffs (PSPS) issued by Southern California Edison (SCE). These temporary outages may occur during periods of high winds, low humidity, and elevated wildfire danger to help reduce the risk of wildfires. While power shutoffs are not common, they are possible during your stay and are beyond our control. If a PSPS event is expected, we will do our best to notify you as soon as we receive updates. Cell phone service may also become limited or intermittent if nearby cellular towers lose power or become congested. Cable and internet providers may experience service interruptions as well. We recommend bringing portable battery packs to keep phones and other essential devices charged, especially during the summer wildfire season. These precautionary shutoffs are implemented by Southern California Edison to help protect lives, property, and the surrounding Kern River Valley from catastrophic wildfires. We appreciate your understanding, as these events are outside of our control but play an important role in keeping our community safe.

🚗 Getting Around Due to the home's peaceful mountain location in Alta Sierra, a car is essential for getting around. The roads are paved and generally well-maintained; however, during the winter months, 4WD or snow chains may be required, especially after snowstorms. 15 minutes to Wofford Heights and local conveniences (grocery, gas, restaurants) 20 minutes to Lake Isabella and Kernville for river rafting, breweries, and lake activities 5 minutes to Alta Sierra Ski Resort for winter sports Scenic drives nearby lead to the Sequoia National Forest, trailheads, and access points along rivers.
